From Mabry's Hill to Market Square, Mabry-Hazen House weaves through the history of Knoxville and East Tennessee. Our small museum preserves a big part of the past, but we need your help to extend our history well into the future. 

Why is our mission important?

  • We believe Mabry-Hazen House and Bethel Cemetery preserve irreplaceable and vital evidence of Knoxville history, saving it for future generations.

  • We believe that history provides a sense of place and builds community through the understanding of the shared history that connects us.
